Global Service Learners, a non-profit educational and charitable organization, endeavors to provide service learning opportunities in under-developed areas throughout the world. We strive to provide funding for participants who demonstrate financial need. We aspire to make the world a better place through learning about new cultures, volunteering in meaningful projects to help locals improve their lives, and exploring the beauty of distant lands.

Costa Rica 2015 is here.

The airplanes tickets are bought, the waivers signed, the orientation attended. Twelve young ladies are on their way to Costa Rica.

The group seems a good one. All of them seem genuinely interested in the volunteer project. They range in age from 18 to 25. There are quite a few native Spanish speakers.
